Long before the shampoo bottle arrived in the Indian bathroom, we had a specific choreography for taking care of the body — coconut oil warmed with hibiscus for the hair on Saturdays, sandalwood paste for the face before a wedding, a burnt-almond and clove toothpowder in a copper container by the sink. Every ingredient came from a garden, a farm, or a small apothecary in a neighbourhood the family had trusted for generations. This collection is our attempt at pulling some of that shelf back into your bathroom.

Every product here is made by a small Indian maker working in an old idiom — Nanjangud-style toothpowders, Ayurvedic hair oils cured over slow heat, sandalwood soaps still cold-processed the way they've been made in Mysore for a century, amla-based hair rinses, herbal balms for aches and colds. Where a maker is FSSAI or AYUSH licensed we say so on the product page; where they're a small home operation working outside the formal certification system we say that too, and we visit them ourselves before we stock them.

Ayurveda is often talked about as if it were a fixed system, but the honest version is closer to a very long conversation — every region of India has its own plants, its own preparations, its own weight of experience. What we look for is straightforward: ingredients we can read, sources we can visit, and formulations that our own families use daily. No SLES, no parabens, no synthetic fragrance, no petrochemical fillers. Where a mineral pigment or a food-grade preservative is genuinely needed, we say so on the label.
