Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Othla, we partner with Shiprocket and trusted courier providers to deliver our products across India. This policy outlines how we ship and deliver your orders.

1. Serviceable Locations

We currently ship across India. Serviceability depends on your delivery pincode and the courier partners available in your area. You can verify if your pincode is serviceable at checkout before placing your order.

For local Bangalore deliveries (within select areas), we may offer same-day or next-day delivery options.

2. Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery times after dispatch (varies by location and courier):

  • Bangalore (local): 1-2 business days
  • Karnataka & nearby states: 2-4 business days
  • Metro cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, etc.): 3-5 business days
  • Rest of India: 4-7 business days
  • Remote / North-East regions: 7-10 business days

Delivery estimates are indicative. Actual timelines may vary due to weather, holidays, courier delays, or other factors beyond our control.

3. Order Processing Time

Most orders are processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days from the time of order confirmation. Perishable items may have longer preparation times, which will be noted at checkout.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

4. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Order weight and dimensions
  • Delivery pincode and distance
  • Selected courier service (standard or express)

Free shipping promotions (if any) will be highlighted on the website. The exact shipping fee will be visible before you confirm payment.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:

  • An email confirmation with the AWB (tracking) number
  • An SMS notification with the courier name and tracking link
  • Real-time tracking via the link or directly on our website at /track

6. Packaging

We use food-safe, eco-friendly packaging wherever possible. Perishable items are packed with appropriate insulation. We strive to minimise plastic use and encourage recycling.

7. Failed Deliveries & Re-attempts

Our courier partners typically attempt delivery 2-3 times before returning the package. To ensure successful delivery:

  • Provide an accurate and complete delivery address
  • Ensure your phone is reachable during delivery hours
  • Be available to receive the package or designate a recipient

If delivery fails after multiple attempts, the package will be returned to us. Re-shipping will incur additional charges.

8. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us immediately at info@smartlythought.com with your order ID and photos (if applicable). We will work with the courier partner to investigate and either replace the order or issue a refund per our Refund Policy.

9. International Shipping
